Massive NATO War Games in Persian Gulf May Trigger World War 3

At least 25 nations, NATO and non-NATO nations are expected to hold massive war games in Persian Gulf, near Iran’s waters. Iran has also announced that it will hold it’s largest war game in history and that it’s prepared to fight off any aggressor.

What’s warring is that Iran has recently renewed its threat towipe Israel off the map in case it gets attacked by anyone. Despite numerous warnings, the former US Ambassador to Israel said that the US will strike Iran in early 2013, provoking Iran to unleash a series of vociferous attacks and warnings against such a war and even to think about a pre-emptive strike against Israel.

A number of Iranian commanders and generals have warned Israel and the US with consequences which will lead to World War 3.

Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Amir-Ali Hajizadeh warned of World War 3, saying: “The Islamic Republic of Iran considers the US bases in the region as part of the American soil and will definitely target them if a war breaks out,” he added.

Amir-Ali Hajizadeh’s war threats have also been enforced by the Deputy Commander of the Iranian Army Brigadier General Abdolrahim Mousavi, who said: “After all, our enemies are soldiers and they know that we have not revealed all our capacities, and if the Zionists make such a crazy move [to attack Iran], they will definitely speed up their annihilation.”

Brigadier General Hossein Salam has also warned: “Our defense strategy assumption is that we would enter an all-out war with a US-led global coalition,” the general said, adding, “We have already identified the vital interests of the enemies and established an invasive power structure to destroy these vital interests.”  “We know that the enemy bases in the region, the security of the Zionist regime, energy supply security and protecting the life of enemy troops constitute the vital interest of the enemy,” General Salami noted.

Deputy Chairman of Iranian Armed Forces’ Chiefs of Staff Brigadier General Massoud Jazayeri said: “The Israeli regime occupying Jerusalem not only lacks the capability to make a military move against Iran, but is also well aware that it will spell its own swift death by firing the first shot at Iran.”

Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has also recently warned that “an Israeli attack on Iran is a total stupidity”.

Newly added anti-Iran posters in New York City subway stations add up to the conflict between the two countries, with the US calling Iran as “savage” and Israel as “the civilized man”. Even though these posters did not directly specified the name of Iran, they were clearly referring to Iran, as the US has no other declared enemy these days in the Islamic world, except Iran. The purpose of these posters is to gain public support for yet another US war which is definitely not in US’s interest nor required by the American people. After a federal judge ruled that the city’s Metropolitan Transportation Authority could not legally refuse to host the signs on the basis of “demeaning” language, the posters will virtually be forced upon Americans in an attempt to indoctrinate them with warmongering propaganda.

Even though some consider Obama to be more reasonable with Iran than Mitt Romney which threatened to attack Iran if elected president, Obama has recently threatened Iran in a UN speech which has later beenfollowed up by Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu with cartoons which has been comicallycriticized by the alternative media.

Iran has recently warned of “dark days ahead” and that they will target and attack US bases in the Middle East if war erupts. It is not yet clear if Iran already owns ICBMs capable of causing a great deal of damage, but it is however known that Iran owns a sophisticated long rangemissile called Sejjil.

According to Wikipedia, the Sejjil missile has a range of 2000 km (1200 mi) which is more than enough to hit any target in Israel and beyond, and it is also covered with anti-radar material, making it Iran’s most most lethal weapon.

In case war erupts, it is also well known that Lebanon’s Hezbollah will join the fight on Iran’s side, now with even Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati vowing for broader ties with Iran. It is also highly possible that Syria might join the fight on Iran’s side, with Bashar al-Assad being a strong ally and friend of Iran’s Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

Russia and China have threatened to join the war on Iran’s side, at the cost of triggering World War 3, because both countries considering Iran an important ally.

In a recent interview with political columnist Kevin Barrett, the former US Secretary of State Henry Kissinger, has also recently warned that Israel’s behavior will lead to it’s extinction in 10 years.

“Kissinger’s statement is flat and unqualified. He is not saying that Israel is in danger, but could be saved if we just gave it additional trillions of dollars and smashed enough of its enemies with our military.… He is not offering a way out. He is simply stating a fact: In 2022, Israel will no longer exist’, Kevin Barrett wrote in an articlepublished on Press TV.

The article argues that the emerging “complacency” among the US officials about Israel’s fate can be traced in the following reasons:

  • American politicians and political activists “are growing fed-up with Israeli intransigence and fanaticism.”
  • Americans feel “festering resentment over the Israel lobby’s imperious domination of public discourse.”
  • “The American Jewish community is no longer united in support of Israel.”
  • It is becoming a common knowledge that Israel and its supporters carried out the 9/11 false-flag attacks.

“In fact, the US is going broke and sacrificing thousands of lives in wars for Israel – wars that damage, rather than aid, US strategic interests,” the article said.

“It will become ever-easier for American policymakers, following in the footsteps of Kissinger and the sixteen intelligence agencies, to recognize the obvious: Israel has reached the end of its shelf-life,” Barrett concluded.

But even so, Israel seems unconcerned about risking World War 3.
